February at the Beach

So, it has been awhile since I have posted anything because it was a very busy year in 2013.  Besides all of the weddings and beach portraits that we did this past year, we hired an assistant and also did a little bit of traveling to some destination wedding locations.  Winters are very slow on Delmarva, but is a good time to reflect, regroup, and focus on the year ahead. I also love to take advantage of all of the dinner specials, cooking demos, Chamber of Commerce events, and the calm before the storm. Besides tweaking my web site a bit and reading about the various new technology advances in the industry, I have been busy with my two little Yorkies, my hubby, and planning a few road trips this year in our new RV. It is nice that we can combine business with pleasure on our road trips, and the fact that we can take the doggies and all be together is so awesome! The OC Bridal Show is coming up in April, and it should be fun! They had a great turnout last year, so hopefully we will fill up our 2014 calendar with a few more weddings. St. Patrick’s Day will be here before you know it, and the parade is always fun to watch. Spring is around the corner! I love doing early spring portrait sessions, because people seem so happy and excited when the weather breaks and it shows in their images!
